This excercise refreshes the basic skills of the Drupal 8 course. The project is 'painting'. Klick here fot the files (add with Wikpedia)
The Dutch example you find here: drupal8.club/snel1. The prints are also in Dutch.
We use Pathauto. This module has 2 dependencies (Token and Ctools). Pathauto puts a token in the URL. Drupal provides default a node number, that has no meaning for SEO.
All the paintings pictures have been resized to 1170 X 330px. They are used in the slideshow. The theme is Zircon: https://www.drupal.org/project/zircon
The paintings content type has 2 references to the content types painters and musea. The reference towards the art category is a taxonomy reference.
The painters are shown with tabs. We use the fieldgroup module.
There is a block with the other painters. Notice that the painter that is being viewed, is not in the list. We use a contextual filter for that.
There is one museum that has been worked out with a field collection. All the expositions and their dates are visible. Also the content type is translatable.
De vertaling... Merk op dat de labels mee vertaald werden.
There is a view with the paintings and their painters. We use the grid presentation. Some CSS has been applied with the Asset injector module.
We use colorbox (third party module) to present the paintings.
There is a filter with the taxonomy terms:
An attachement view has been made that shows the yougest and oldest paintings. The aggregation possibility has been used here.
This is the view with the painters. We need a reverse relationship.
The rights of the users can be tested. Some accounts have the right to put content themselves.
The views slideshow modules (third party) is presented on the front page.
Behind the screens the IMCE module has been installed. It makes uploading pictures easy.
